About Kari

For fifteen years, I’ve had the privilege of helping LA area buyers and sellers move forward with confidence in a community I know and love. But my career didn’t start in real estate—it started in music.  Before becoming an agent, I earned a Doctorate in Jazz Studies from USC, taught music at the college level, and performed professionally as a jazz musician.  That background may seem unexpected in real estate, but it shaped how I work every day.

Jazz is built on preparation, listening, and the ability to adapt in real time. Real estate requires the same mindset. Every transaction brings new people, personalities, and challenges, and no two deals unfold the same way. I rely on deep experience, market knowledge, and clear communication to solve problems as they arise—while staying flexible and ready for the unexpected.

What I value most in both music and real estate is collaboration. Successful outcomes come from strong relationships, trust, and a willingness to work together toward a shared goal.  My path may not have been traditional, but it’s led me to a career I truly love—one built on relationships, expertise, and helping people find the right place to land.
